SAVI engineered and installed a LARES acoustical enhancement system for the Disney Theatrical production of Lion King at Mandalay Bay Casino.
A LARES enhancement system utilizing 53 surround speakers with individual DSP processing was developed and installed during the on-going run of the Lion King musical. This system enables the acoustical sound of the room to be varied throughout the performance from a very small, intimate space to a giant, cavernous acoustical space. Manipulation of the audience space during applause and response moments yields heightened audience response and emotions.
